2024 FIDE World Championship Promotion
These pieces were made to promote the upcoming FIDE World Championship to people who enjoy chess or may be interested to see what Chess looks like when played at the top levels. The formats used were a banner, a social media post, and an outdoor poster.
The promotion pieces utilize negative space to draw in the eye and present the title of the event in an interesting way. Black and white is used to aid in this as well as play into the idea of black and white chess pieces. The patterns in the background of the image reflect how each of the chess pieces move on the board.
